Come one, come all to...

The VYCC’s 2nd Annual Lumberjack Breakfast
Wednesday, February 27 @ 7:30 a.m.
at the Bridge Street Café in Richmond.

Attire:  Your favorite lumberjack impersonation!

A suspender contest, judged by Bridge Street’s own Marvin Carpenter, will take place following breakfast. A prize will be awarded to the person wearing the most unique and original suspenders.

The Community Fund

This fun breakfast will also serve as the official kick-off for the new Monitor Barn Community Fund. The fund will underwrite schools and community organizations that use the West Monitor Barn facility. The number of community organizations using the barn has skyrocketed in the past two years.

While businesses and individuals can donate directly to the fund, the largest amount of funding will come from a voluntary 10% donation from caterers and other vendors who provide services to those who do rent.

Bridge Street Café will inaugurate the fund by donating 10% of the gross at the Lumberjack Breakfast, as well as for all other events. Owner Marvin Carpenter hopes other area businesses will join him in this effort. Thanks Marvin!
