Dear Alumni,

Whether you worked for the VYCC in 1986 or 2006, you will always be a part of our community -- a network of over 4,000 people that have participated in the VYCC experience.

Our 2007 programs accomplished more conservation work than ever before. We launched exciting new programs including the LEAP (Learn, Earn and Prosper) Program for blind and visually impaired youth, the overnight Leadership Retreat for Community Crews, and year-round school crews from Mount Mansfield Union, Lamoille Valley Union, and Center for Technology--Essex. The second year of the Conservation and Community Leadership Program was a resounding success and, of course, our Wilderness, Roving, Community and Park crews were as strong as ever!  You can request a yearbook to see all of the newest members of the VYCC alumni family. 

After such a successful year, 2008 promises many opportunities for our alumni.  We hope you will consider joining the Alumni Association or visiting our MySpace or Facebook sites.  It doesn't matter to us if you've been away from the VYCC for a long time - the memories you have from your experience still connect you and shape some part of who you are today.  Please read below for some of the ways you can re-connect with us, and we hope you keep in touch!

Alumni Association

Do you want to be involved with the VYCC as an alum?  Join the Alumni Association!

This year the VYCC is forming an Alumni Association to help create an Alumni Program.  This group will be directly involved in developing the Program and what it will offer to VYCC alums.  Members of the Association will also be involved in planning for the 2008 Alumni Rendezvous, set to take place on October 12th. 

We would love your input, and you don't need to live near the West Monitor Barn to participate, either!  If you are interested in joining the Alumni Association please contact Cara Butterly at cbutterly@vycc.org or 802.434.3969 ext. 144.

2007 Yearbook

The 2007 Yearbook is in!  This publication is filled with all the people, projects and partners that helped make up the last year at the VYCC.
